(Houston, TX - Sep 27, 2005) In preparation for the weather events of Hurricane Rita last week, SKL Services was operating under our Disaster Preparedness Plan. Our focus was on unplanned network outages, equipment downtime, loss of power and bandwidth availability. SKL Services had cabinets and bandwidth available in Dallas, TX with redundant equipment on stand by. We are pleased to announce that there was never a need to switch Houston traffic to Dallas. The network was not affected by any losses of service and was 100% operational through-out the time Houston was affected by Hurricane Rita.
